Warm the milk gently in the 1L saucepan until it is lukewarm. Add the yeast, sugar and lukewarm milk to a bowl and mix well until the liquid is smooth. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes.

Sieve the flour, then mix well with the salt and milk mixture to form a dough. Knead the dough for around three minutes until there is none left on the sides of the bowl.

Cover the dough with a damp towel and let it sit for an hour at room temperature until it doubles its size. Punch down the dough to release air and let it sit for another15 minutes.

Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape, then divide into six or seven pieces and roll them into a ball shape.

Mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon powder, peanuts and turmeric powder to form a filling. Flatten the balls of dough and add a tablespoon of filling, then roll back into a circular shape.

Preheat the 3L Fryer with a little oil then add the dough balls with the folded side face down in the pan. Fry until it turns to golden, then flip onto the other side and fry until that is golden too.

Cover with the lid and cook for a further minute to let the filling melt, then serve.
